The Role We are looking for caring, reliable, and motivated Support Workers to join our growing team. This role involves providing practical and emotional support within the community and home environment to help individuals live more independently and confidently. No two days are the same, and you will play a vital role in improving the wellbeing and quality of life of the people we support. Key Responsibilities As a Support Worker, your duties may include: * Providing companionship and structured engagement * Supporting individuals to access community activities, education, appointments, and social opportunities * Assisting with the development of independent living and social skills * Offering emotional support and wellbeing check-ins * Supporting routines, skills development, and positive behaviour approaches * Providing light practical support within the home environment * Encouraging independence, choice, and inclusion * Maintaining accurate records and reporting concerns appropriately * Working collaboratively with families, professionals, and wider support networks What We’re Looking For Ideal candidates will have: A caring, patient, and empathetic nature Strong communication and interpersonal skills The ability to build positive and professional relationships Reliability, flexibility, and a positive attitude Experience in support work, care, mental health, or community services (preferred but not essential) A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred) An understanding of safeguarding and person-centred support What We Offer Flexible working patterns Ongoing training and development Career progression opportunities Supportive management and team environment Meaningful and rewarding work within the community Safeguarding Commitment LGD Care Group LTD is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults.
