Role: Community Care Worker
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Pay: from £13.70 to £16.44 depending on shift and role
We are looking for dedicated and skilled Community Care Workers to join our team. Our service user
As part of this role, you will be supporting a service user that has a chromosome deficit that impacts his cognition although he is not diagnosed with a learning disability. He enjoys school, gaming on his Xbox, using social media and feels good when receiving lots of praise.
The shifts for this role include days (8am – 8pm) and sleeping nights (8pm – 8am).
What You’ll Do
As a Community Care Worker, you’ll be delivering care that is truly person-centred, including:
1. Personal Care and Support: Assisting adults with daily tasks to ensure comfort and dignity.
2. Companionship: Being a friendly face and a comforting presence.
3. Live-in Care: Providing 24/7 support for those who need it most.
4. Promoting Independence: Empowering clients to lead fulfilling lives with as much autonomy as possible.
5. Medication Support: Ensuring safe and timely administration of medication.
6. Specialist Clinical Care: Handling complex clinical needs with expertise and confidence.
7. Palliative and End-of-Life Care: Offering compassionate care during life’s most challenging moments.

What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking individuals who have:
1. A minimum of 6 months of professional care experience or experience caring for a loved one in the UK.
2. The ability to assist clients with limited mobility comfortably.
3. The right to work in the UK.
4. Experience with complex care (desired, but not essential as full training will be provided).
