Are you passionate about delivering high-quality design solutions and building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders? We’re looking for a Design Coordinator to join our dynamic team in London Bridge. With a focus on Ministry of Defence building projects, you will contribute to the successful delivery of projects from inception to completion.
Responsibilities:
1. Ensure designs comply with project documentation, client specifications, and statutory requirements.
2. Review and approve consultant and subcontractor drawings for coordination.
3. Coordinate 3D designs across disciplines using Revit, BIM360, and other tools, conducting clash detection.
4. Oversee compliance with environmental certifications such as BREEAM, DREAM, and Passivhaus.
5. Collaborate with factory and site teams to resolve technical issues.
6. Manage Building Control applications and conduct site/factory visits.
7. Lead Design Team Meetings, track actions, and manage design consultants.
8. Produce construction site setup plans in AutoCAD and support information management in line with ISO 19650 standards.
Key Skills:
1. A relevant degree (e.g., Architecture, Structural/Civil Engineering, Construction Management).
2. Strong technical design background and experience with Revit and AutoCAD.
3. Knowledge of RIBA Stages 4-5 and environmental certifications (BREEAM, Passivhaus, etc.).
4. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
5. Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with stakeholders.
6. A goal-oriented mindset with great attention to detail and a willingness to adapt and improve processes.
Please note that this role requires Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance.
