Business Analyst - Claims
Job Title – Business Analyst - Claims
Location – Leicester, London or Bexhill (hybrid) with expectations to come into the office on an ad-hoc basis as and when required
Role overview
This role sits within the Claims Analytics team, where we’re currently growing our Business Analyst capability in this area.
Key responsibilities
1. Translate business requirements and front-end system steps into data points within Snowflake for claims processes and customer journeys.
2. Create detailed specifications for tables to support solutions aligned with business needs and platform recommendations.
3. Define requirements for additional data points to facilitate understanding of process deviations.
4. Collaborate with CIO and Data Engineering/Analytics Engineering teams to ensure data feeds are built according to requirements.
5. Fully document all curated data feeds.
6. Support project delivery within scope, quality, and time objectives.
Essential skills and experience
1. Insurance background, preferably with claims experience.
2. Extensive experience as a Business Analyst.
3. Proven skills in requirements elicitation, analysis, process modeling, stakeholder management, and documentation with minimal supervision.
Interview process
1. Recruiter screening call.
2. Introductory interview with the hiring leader (via Microsoft Teams).
3. Competency interview combined with a case study (via Microsoft Teams).
