Certus Recruitment Group is partnering with an established and growing MSP with a strong reputation across managed services, cloud, cyber security, and infrastructure solutions.
As part of an ambitious growth strategy, they are launching a brand-new IT Reseller Division, and are looking for a founding sales hire to help build it.
This is not a “manage an existing team” opportunity.
It’s a chance to create something from the ground up inside a well-backed, financially stable business with an existing customer base, strong vendor relationships, and genuine appetite for investment.
The successful candidate will lead by example from day one, winning business, building pipeline, shaping strategy, and laying the foundations for a future sales function.
The Role
This is a highly entrepreneurial, player-manager position with significant autonomy and visibility.
Initially, the focus will be hands-on:
* Driving new business through outbound sales activity
* Building pipeline and developing key customer relationships
* Selling IT hardware, infrastructure, workplace, and associated technology solutions
* Identifying market opportunities and defining the reseller proposition
* Establishing pricing models, quoting processes, and commercial frameworks
* Working closely with leadership and technical teams to shape go-to-market strategy
* Creating scalable sales processes and operational structure
Over time, the role will evolve into building and leading the division:
* Hiring and mentoring additional sales talent
* Creating a high-performance sales culture
* Scaling revenue and expanding vendor relationships
* Taking ownership of the division’s long-term commercial success
The Profile
Applicants should have:
* Proven success within IT reseller, VAR, channel, or technology solutions sales
* Strong new business and outbound sales capability
* Experience selling IT hardware, infrastructure, workplace, or broader technology solutions
* Commercial awareness across pricing, margins, and deal structuring
* A self-starting mentality with the ability to build momentum from zero
* The confidence to operate with autonomy and take ownership of outcomes
