Job Description
The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for:
1. Assisting the Project Manager on largescale multifamily projects from start through completion
2. Establishing and maintaining project schedules
3. Reviewing plans and specifications for coordination and value engineering
4. Assisting in the review, processing and tracking of all RFI's, Submittals, Shop Drawings, etc.
5. Preparing and maintaining project logs
6. Tracking all permits required by governing jurisdiction
7. Helping with the bidding and buy-out of materials, services and scopes of work
8. Ensuring that the project costs are properly documented, controlled and forecasted on a monthly basis
9. Etc.

The Successful Applicant
The right candidate will have:
10. 2+ years working as an Assistant Project Manager with a reputable commercial GC
11. Experience working on large-scale woodframe multifamily projects
12. Bachelors degree in construction management, or other related field
13. Knowledge of construction procedures, building/handicap/fair housing/ansi/waterproof/environmental/acoustical codes, estimating, & scheduling practices
14. Professional verbal & written communication skills
