Science Lecturer (Chemistry and/or Biology specialism)
Role: The Trafford and Stockport College Group (TSCG) seeks an experienced Science Lecturer (Chemistry and/or Biology specialism) to join the Academic Studies Department and help achieve our vision of unlocking potential for successful futures.
Responsibilities: You will primarily work with learners on our Full‑Time GCSE and A Level programmes, delivering high‑quality teaching that supports learners from a wide range of backgrounds and starting points. Your duties include developing curriculum, implementing effective teaching and learning strategies, and creating a supportive learning environment that enables all learners to thrive. You will collaborate with colleagues, contribute positively to the department, and demonstrate a proactive, resilient, and learner‑focused approach to challenges.
About you: You are passionate about your subject area and committed to delivering high‑quality teaching. You have the ability to motivate and support learners from diverse backgrounds using effective assessment and academic support strategies. You are a strong team player who communicates effectively with colleagues and is resilient in a busy, ambitious department.
