Teacher of English – Full-Time (December 2025 – July 2026)
Location: Bacup, Lancashire
Contract: Full-Time, Fixed Term
We are looking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Teacher of English to join our successful secondary school in Bacup from December 2025 until the end of the academic year. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented classroom practitioner to inspire a love of English and help students achieve their very best.
The Role:
* Teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that challenge and support learners of all abilities.
* Contribute fully to the life of the English department and wider school community.
* Support the progress, attainment, and well-being of students.
About You:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong background in English.
* Experience teaching English at secondary level, with a track record of securing good outcomes.
* Passionate about literature and language, with excellent subject knowledge.
* A reflective practitioner, committed to continuous improvement and professional development.
