At Blue Cross, we are looking for a Resourcing Partner to join our Resourcing team, supporting our Retail and Rehoming & Fostering Services directorates. This is a fast‑paced and varied role where you will play a key part in delivering high‑quality, high‑volume recruitment, helping us find the right people to support pets and the people who love them. This role offers flexibility to be based from either our Burford, Newport, or Radcliffe, Manchester office.

As a Resourcing Partner, you will deliver a proactive, consultative resourcing service across the full recruitment lifecycle. You will partner closely with hiring managers, providing expert advice, constructive challenge, and data‑led insight to shape effective recruitment strategies.
A key focus of this role is managing high‑volume recruitment campaigns, particularly across our Retail and Rehoming & Fostering Services teams. You will be confident designing and delivering attraction strategies at pace, while maintaining a strong focus on quality, candidate experience, and inclusive hiring practices.
You will also support recruitment across a range of more specialist roles, using your expertise to tailor approaches and ensure we attract the right talent in a competitive market.
About you
You are an experienced resourcing professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is confident managing high volumes of recruitment activity. Ideally, you bring experience from an in‑house recruitment setting or have worked closely with internal stakeholders in a complex organisation.
You build strong relationships, provide clear and credible advice, and are comfortable balancing competing priorities. You take a thoughtful approach to continuous improvement, taking the time to understand existing processes, context, and what is working well, before identifying opportunities to enhance and evolve how we deliver recruitment. You are motivated by delivering a great candidate experience and are passionate about inclusive recruitment.
Essential qualifications, skills, and experience
* Proven experience of delivering end-to-end recruitment, ideally within an in‑house environment, or within an agency or RPO setting
* Experience of working within structured recruitment processes, balancing stakeholder needs with governance, compliance, and organisational priorities
* Strong understanding of attraction strategies across multiple channels, including digital and social media
* Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels
* Proven experience of using an Applicant Tracking System, ATS, to manage recruitment activity, ensuring accurate data management, reporting, and compliance
* Ability to interpret data from recruitment systems and other sources, using insights to inform decision making and continuous improvement
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively
* Proactive and self‑motivated, with a resilient and adaptable approach
* Ability to demonstrate understanding and application of Blue Cross values
Desirable qualifications, skills, and experience
* Knowledge and experience of inclusive recruitment practices and attracting under‑represented groups
* Experience of direct sourcing using LinkedIn, job boards, and talent databases
* Experience of optimising or improving recruitment systems, processes, or reporting
* Knowledge of current employment law relating to recruitment, including equality and reasonable adjustments
