The role of the Imagery Producer is to manage all briefs, work in progress, and final jobs within the Image team.
Work Arrangement: Hybrid - 2-3 days onsite per week
Description
This role encompasses managing 3D CG Stills, Animation, 2D Illustration, Photography, and Retouching, requiring a dedicated point of contact for each specialist area. The ideal candidate is highly organized, methodical, possesses strong communication skills, and is capable of planning and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
The role demands high competency in multitasking and managing projects with diverse deadlines and requirements. Effective planning, record-keeping, proactive organization based on business needs, and clear communication with clients and team members are essential to ensure quality and timely delivery. Regular updates to Commercial/Project Managers, Image Team Leaders, and the Head of Art are required throughout the project lifecycle.
Accountabilities
1. Take briefs from various business areas, plan, and oversee the delivery of all image assets.
2. Foster positive, proactive relationships within the team to promote an expert environment.
3. Understand client challenges to gauge priorities and contribute to strategic discussions.
4. Maintain regular contact with Creative and Commercial Managers during project development.
5. Assess the feasibility of creative work based on requirements, time, and resources.
6. Gain thorough knowledge of client systems, review, and production processes.
7. Ensure projects progress on time and within budget, maintaining awareness of job statuses.
8. Keep team members updated on project statuses and motivate during high-pressure periods.
9. Ensure briefs are detailed and accurate, working with owners to gather necessary assets.
10. Act as communication liaison between the Image team and other departments.
11. Manage accounts system, including raising PO’s for outsourced or freelance work.
12. Present and secure approval for estimates before work begins.
13. Issue invoices promptly and accurately.
Skills
Requires 3+ years of planning and project management experience, ideally within a CG or Photography environment. An interest in CG and photography is beneficial. Willingness to learn team software to enhance understanding and efficiency. Personal qualities include decision-making ability, excellent communication, problem-solving skills, composure under pressure, proactivity, and a positive attitude.
