Overview of Role
Location: Cardiff
As part of ABF, Allied Milling and Baking produces and delivers fresh baked goods daily. We are seeking a Vehicle Maintenance Technician to inspect, service, and repair vehicles, trailers, and equipment following safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prioritize safety, report hazards, and work with VMU coordinators and FLMs to achieve Zero Harm.
2. Be flexible in task management within the VMU operations.
3. Maintain site standards and support audits, ensuring cleanliness and safety.
4. Perform repairs to meet VOSA standards.
5. Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure vehicle availability for schedules.
6. Achieve shift KPIs through efficient work practices.
7. Follow safety procedures and report non-compliance.
8. Utilize resources effectively for tasks.
9. Maintain fleet assets in line with company and VOSA standards.
10. Perform additional duties as required within VMU.
The Right Person

* City and Guilds LGV Qualifications or equivalent.
* Experience in LGV fleet maintenance preferred.

* LGV Licence C+E is desirable but not essential.
