Role Title: Instructor Demonstrator in Backstage
Location: Yale
Contract Type: Part time, 29.6 hours a week (0.8 FTE), Permanent
Pro Rata Salary: ID1 £20,754.40 - ID4 £24,035.20
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our Yale site as a Backstage Instructor Demonstrator in Performing Arts. the individual will deliver practical backstage education. Collaboration with academic staff is crucial to align hands-on practices with the theoretical underpinnings provided in the classroom, and the role involves assessing students' application of skills in real-world backstage scenarios.
Essential Requirements
1. Qualified to a minimum of Level 3 or equivalent in a professionally relevant subject matter
2. Demonstrate an understanding of current developments within your own specialist area and ways of keeping up to date with such developments
3. Recent industrial experience in the relevant specialist area
4. Able to confidently deliver high quality, effective practical sessions which enhance learning for our students.
