We’re looking for a Credit Manager to join our finance team. This is a newly created role that will manage two Credit Controllers. You will have extensive credit control experience with the ability to thrive in a fast paced and constantly evolving environment.
This role is a full-time, permanent role based at our office at Kings Cross, London. The role reports into the Finance Manager.
The Credit Manager will report into the Finance Manager to oversee that all transactions are posted with any required reporting done accurately within the agreed deadlines.
Oversee the collection of a multi-currency global customer base, with a high volume of smaller customer accounts
Work closely with the sales and trade services teams to ensure customer accounts are maintained efficiently
Implement and improve credit control policies and procedures
Evaluate credit risk and set credit limits in line with company policy
Manage and lead the credit control team, setting targets and monitoring performance
Assist in the year end audit process relating to receivables
Experience with an AR ledger with a high volume of smaller accounts, ideally within furnishing, furniture, home sector industry
Experience with wholesale and contract customers
Strong planning and organisational skills
Pro-active team player and happy to cover if one of the credit controllers is away
Proficiency with Excel is essential
Experience of using Microsoft Navision would be an advantage but not essential
