We are looking for a Caretaker/Cleaner for an events business working over 3 buildings.
We are looking for a hard working, enthusiastic, trustworthy, cheerful and friendly person who is passionate about our spaces. You must be a details person and job satisfaction must motivate you - with proven track record.
You must be quick, purposeful and able to work to set time frames. You must also be flexible with your time and able to work early in the mornings to accommodate turnarounds and set up before the next event.
You must be an excellent communicator - able to report into management about the jobs you have done
There are both indoor and outdoor spaces to look after - so you must be willing and able to get stuck in as a key member of our team and help us prepare, clean and maintain our venues. Be aware that the venues both inside and outside are large and require someone with good stamina.
You must be a practical person to assist with everyday tasks and venue maintenance - such as changing light bulbs, painting, fixing wobbly toilet seats, light plumbing - general venue and building care inside and outside.
You must be have good timekeeping skill and be punctual
We are looking for someone who wants to come to work, get a job done and do it to the best of their ability.
This is a shift based position. We pay by the hour and the amount would be based on your previous experience. This could turn into a full time position for the right person.
We are looking for someone who really cares about doing a great job and who is interested in our historic buildings and will take pride in knowing that they are part of the team.
We are not looking to work with an agency.
