The Relationship Manager is responsible for generating new leads, building networks, growing existing client accounts, and managing long-term relationships. You will act as the bridge between our talented delivery teams and the market, identifying organisations that align with our values and capabilities. You are a commercially driven and purpose-led Business Development & Account Manager who will grow our client base, strengthen existing relationships, and fuel sustainable, meaningful growth. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker and doer—someone excited by targets, energised by conversations, and empowered by tools like Salesforce, marketing automation, and LinkedIn. Responsible for expanding our market presence by engaging with new prospects and existing clients, both online and in person, helping purposeful organisations innovate through digital.
Responsibilities:
1.Business Development & Sales Growth
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities across sectors that align with Digital Wonderlab’s values and services.
* Use LinkedIn and digital channels for proactive outreach, thought leadership, and connection building.
* Develop compelling proposals and tailored sales pitches that speak directly to client needs.
* Take full ownership of your sales pipeline, consistently hitting or exceeding revenue targets.
* Collaborate with delivery and strategy teams to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
2.Client Engagement & Account Expansion
* Cultivate strong, lasting relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and growth.
* Conduct regular reviews and strategic check-ins to identify new opportunities and future-proof relationships.
* Act as a client advocate within the agency, ensuring consistent value delivery and alignment.
* Use Salesforce CRM to manage leads, track opportunities, and report sales performance.
* Leverage marketing automation and email sequencing tools to scale outreach and nurture prospects.
* Continuously optimise sales processes based on performance data and industry best practices.
4.Market Presence & Networking
* Represent Digital Wonderlab at key industry events, networking opportunities, and sector meetups.
* Actively engage in professional groups and communities—both online (e.g., LinkedIn) and in-person—to enhance visibility and credibility.
* Stay up to date on market trends, competitor activity, and evolving client challenges to shape strategy.
Skills and Experience:
Required Skills:
* Proven success in B2B business development or sales within a digital, tech, or creative environment.
* Demonstrable experience using LinkedIn for outreach, lead generation, and professional networking.
* Solid grasp of CRM tools (preferably Salesforce) and automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Outreach).
* Excellent written and verbal communication, pitch delivery, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Consultative approach, able to identify and translate client challenges into valuable digital solutions.
* Highly self-motivated, target-driven, and performance-oriented.
Preferred Attributes:
* Experience with purpose-driven or mission-led organisations.
* Strong understanding of digital transformation, UX, software development, and strategic consultancy.
* Passionate about purposeful impact and aligning commercial growth with positive change.
Experience Requirements - You MUST Have:
* Experience of working in a similar digital agency environment
* 3 Years Business Development experience, consultatively selling services to clients
* Experience in generating new leads and opportunities through online and face-to-face outreach
