Overview
CNC Turner (Fanuc) – Location: Christchurch, Dorset – Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 per annum (dependent on experience). Hours: Monday-Thursday 07:45 - 16:15; Friday 07:45 - 12:45. Flexitime for earlier starts.
The Role
Our client is currently recruiting a fully skilled CNC Turner with Fanuc programming experience to set and operate our CNC turning machines in a high-quality aerospace and nuclear manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
* Programming, setting and operating Fanuc-controlled CNC lathes, producing components ranging from one-offs to medium batch quantities.
* Work with materials including aluminium and stainless steel, with parts ranging from simple to highly complex precision components.
Qualifications
* Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge of modern CNC machine tools
* Fanuc control experience essential (programming, setting & operating)
* Proven experience machining aluminium and stainless steel
* Manual machining experience
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and tolerances
* Competent using precision measuring equipment
* Adaptable to machining special or bespoke components
* Disciplined approach to paperwork in line
