We are recruiting for an Accounts Manager to join a growing and successful chartered accountancy firm in Haywards Heath, West Sussex.
Are you an ACA/ACCA qualified accountant with experience in a general practice role, and looking to push your career forward in a new environment? Based in a central location in Haywards Heath, West Sussex, you’ll be joining a fast growing and forward thinking accountancy firm.
Working with a varied and interesting client portfolio, your role will cover a range of accounts and tax work, as well as reviewing and overseeing the work of more junior team members, acting as the point of contact for client queries and advice, and getting involved in business development activities. In this client-facing accounts manager role you’ll be supported and encouraged to use your own initiative and develop your management skills with the opportunity for rapid career progression.
Responsibilities
* Reviewing and overseeing the work of junior colleagues
* Being the point of contact for client queries and advice
* Working on a varied portfolio of accounts and tax work
* Participating in business development activities
* Utilising initiative to support career progression
Qualifications
* ACA or ACCA qualified accountant
* Strong general practice background, experienced with SME clients and portfolio management
* Strong technical skills, ambitious and highly self-motivated
* Experience reviewing the work of junior colleagues
* Live within commuting distance of Haywards Heath, West Sussex
