Key Responsibilities
As the Junior Accountant, you will support the finance team with a wide range of duties, including:
* Preparation of statutory and management accounts
* Posting general ledger entries, journals, and performing account reconciliations
* Assisting with VAT returns and compliance tasks
* Supporting senior accountants with audit preparation and documentation
* Helping manage accounts payable and receivable processes
* Ensuring accurate maintenance of financial records
* Responding to client queries in a professional and timely manner
* Contributing to month-end and year-end close activities
* Identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve accuracy

Skills & Experience Required
* ACCA qualified (newly qualified or up to 2 years' experience)
* Practice experience is beneficial but not essential
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
* Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks
* Advanced MS Excel skills
* Exceptional attention to detail and strong numerical ability
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines
* Confident communicator with a professional, client-centric approach
* Proactive, eager to learn, and keen to develop within a supportive team
