Position: Digital Workplace Support Engineer – SCCM / Endpoint Management
Location: Coventry, Gaydon, Solihull (100% onsite)
Contract Length: 6 months
Rate: £272/day
Team: IT End User Services
Reporting To: SCCM Team Lead
🛠️ About the Role:
We are seeking two SCCM/Endpoint Engineers to provide expert-level support across a large, multi-site infrastructure. You’ll be the go-to resource for SCCM administration, patch management, OS deployment, application packaging, and client health monitoring. If you enjoy solving complex technical issues and working in high-impact environments, this role is for you.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
* Administer and troubleshoot SCCM 2012 infrastructure
* Manage SQL Replication, Queries, and Reporting (SSRS)
* Patch management, SUGs, ADR, deployment & compliance tracking
* Application packaging (App Model), Task Sequences, OSD, OS Upgrades
* Intune & Autopilot integration, Co-management experience
* PowerShell & VB scripting for automation and dynamic collections
* SCCM role installation (MP/DP) and distribution issues
* Support compliance reporting, GPO, and endpoint health (CCMEval)
📚 Skills & Experience Required:
* 3+ years in a large IT environment
* Proficient in SCCM, SQL, PowerShell, SSRS, WSUS, WMI
* Strong patching, app deployment & OS management skills
* Knowledge of Intune, Autopilot, Co-management
* ITIL Foundation certification (Incident/Problem Practitioner preferred)
* Excellent troubleshooting and stakeholder communication skills
🕐 Work Conditions:
* Early/Late shift rotation (including some Bank Holidays)
* 100% onsite (Coventry/Gaydon/Solihull)
