What's exciting about the role
As a Key Account Manager – UK & Ireland, you will play a crucial role in managing and growing strategic relationships across the UK & Ireland region. This role is essential in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, driving sales performance, and executing commercial strategies aligned with business objectives.
This is a 1-year fixed-term contract, ideal for a results-oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Account Management: Own and develop strategic relationships with key customers across the UK & Ireland, ensuring long-term partnerships and high client satisfaction.
* Sales & Growth: Drive revenue through proactive account planning, upselling, cross-selling, and identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts.
* Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, customer success, and operations teams to deliver tailored solutions and meet client needs.
* Forecasting & Reporting: Monitor performance against targets, produce regular reports, and maintain accurate CRM records.
* Contract Negotiation: Lead contract renewals, pricing discussions, and commercial negotiations with stakeholders.
* Market Insights: Keep abreast of industry trends, customer challenges, and competitor activity to inform strategy and maintain a competitive edge.
Skills and Experience we desire
* Proven experience in Key Account Management, Business Development, or Strategic Sales (preferably within the payments industry).
* Track record of delivering results and managing complex client relationships.
* Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
* Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
* Willingness to travel within the UK & Ireland as needed.
