Hours: Mon–Thu 08:00–16:30, Fri 08:00–14:00

About the Role
Our client is looking for a proactive and reliable Multi-Skilled Stores Person to join their team. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys variety in their daily work.
The role involves managing incoming and outgoing equipment, ensuring all items are stored correctly, maintained, and tested before redistribution. You’ll play a key part in keeping operations running smoothly and safely.
Key Responsibilities

Checking, inspecting, and processing equipment when it is returned to store
*
Conducting basic maintenance and safety checks
*
Performing PAT testing on a range of equipment (experience preferred)
*
Supporting mechanical and electrical tasks as required
*
Managing stock levels, organisation, and stores housekeeping
*
Preparing and issuing equipment for jobs and projects
*
Updating records and reporting faults or issues promptly
Ideal Candidate
*
Previous experience in a stores, workshop, or equipment hire/returns environment
*
Some knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
*
PAT testing experience
*
Strong attention to detail and a safety-first approach
*
Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently
*
Practical, hands-on attitude — time-served qualifications not required
