A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Fire & Security Service Engineer (Fire Bias) to join a regional team operating across Leeds and West Yorkshire. This is a field‑based role focused primarily on the service, maintenance, and fault‑finding of commercial fire detection systems, working with established clients in education, healthcare, retail and commercial sectors.
Key Responsibilities
* Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive servicing of Fire Alarm Systems
* Fault‑finding, diagnostics and remedial works on addressable and conventional fire panels
* Occasional small works and minor commissioning if required
* Accurate completion of reports, worksheets and compliance documentation
* Working to British Standards (BS 5839) and site‑specific safety procedures
* Providing a professional service and maintaining strong client relationships
Desired Experience
* Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Service Engineer
* Good working knowledge of leading fire panels (e.g., Advanced, Kentec, C-TEC, Gent, Morley)
* Ability to work independently across commercial environments
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Bonus (not essential): Experience with CCTV, Access Control or Intruder Alarms
