The Role
As a European Operations Co?ordinator, youll be at the heart of the day:to:day operation, managing European road freight shipments from start to finish.
This is a hands:on, customer:facing position where attention to detail, commercial awareness, and proactive communication are key.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing daily European freight bookings (import and export)
* Handling customs clearance processes where required
* Creating and managing job files and key documentation
* Processing shipments through the Multifreight system
* Liaising with clients : quotations, bookings, updates, and issue resolution
* Negotiating rates and managing supplier relationships
* Working closely with the internal sales team on pricing and service solutions
* Monitoring shipments to completion, ensuring service excellence throughout
* Maximising profitability through cost control and supplier negotiation
* Invoicing and maintaining accurate operational records
* Contributing to team meetings, performance reviews, and business planning

* Proven experience in European freight forwarding or transport operations
* Strong commercial awareness with experience in quotations and rate negotiation
* Excellent communication and relationship:building skills
* Highly organised, with strong attention to detail
* Able to manage workloads under pressure and meet deadlines
* A proactive problem solver with a can:do attitude
* Self:motivated, driven, and enthusiastic
