Sociology Teacher - Full Time
Location: Derbyshire
Start: March 16th 2026
Contract: Full time, until Summer break
Tradewind Recruitment are working in partnership with a secondary to recruit a Sociology Teacher for a full-time, temporary position starting immediately.
This role has arisen due to staff absence and will involve teaching Sociology across Key Stages 3 and 4 and RE at KS3. The school is keen to appoint a confident and engaging teacher who can maintain continuity and high standards of learning during this period.
The Role:
1. Full-time teaching of Sociology up to A level
2. Planning and delivering engaging, inclusive lessons
3. Supporting pupils' personal development and academic progress
4. Working collaboratively within a supportive department
The Ideal Candidate:
5. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
6. Experience teaching Sociology
7. Strong classroom management skills
8. Available to start immediately
9. Open to early career teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers
