We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Cooker Operative to ensure production runs efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and compliance. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery, ensuring products meet specification, and supporting the achievement of production targets. What You Will Do Production & Efficiency Operate machinery to achieve optimum efficiency and meet production targets. Report and record faults, downtime, and performance issues. Complete pre-start checks and ensure machines are clean and in good working order. Follow correct specifications, including programmes, films, and date codes. Quality & Compliance Maintain cleaning standards before and during production. Ensure weights, metal detection, and print checks are carried out at the required frequency. Verify seal integrity and ensure products meet quality standards. Yield & Waste Control Set and maintain weights within agreed tolerances. Minimise waste, including floor waste and overproduction. Policies & Procedures Follow all company policies, including health & safety, quality control, and safe working practices. What You Will Bring Experience in a production or manufacturing environment (preferred). Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to follow procedures and work to targets.
