Connect2Luton are excited to recruit a Communications Officer on behalf of Luton Borough Council. Main purpose of position: Communications officers work as part of the Communications and Marketing team in small teams, supporting either the people, place or corporate portfolio. This role is responsible for the communications and marketing of the people portfolio, delivering well planned and evaluated communications campaigns and projects that change perceptions, attitudes and behaviours. The work of this portfolio covers both internal and external communication and supports education, children's services, adult social care, health and wellbeing. You will be responsible to: ·Engage with other professionals in the communications and marketing team 30 to co-develop campaigns and to ensure that the right communications channels are used to achieve campaign objectives. ·Develop and deliver marketing, communications and social media campaigns in collaboration with other members of the teams and any service-based staff involved in communications and marketing activity. ·Write content for a range of audiences using a range of channels, consistent with the narrative for the people portfolio. ·Build good, productive relationships with key people in departments to ensure that the communications service understands service needs and is influential in determining and delivering new ways of meeting those needs. ...
