The apprenticeship in dental nursing is an 18-month government funded course by City & Guilds, a Level 3 Extended Diploma. Alongside your learning your job role within the practise will entail assisting dentists, sterilising & preparing equipment, reception duties and supporting patient experience.

* Supporting dentists and specialists in a patient-focused setting
* Assisting with surgery setup, equipment checks, and sterilisation
* Ensuring documentation and patient records are completed correctly

* Following practice policies, safeguarding, and compliance guidelines
If you are successfully appointed to this position, you will be required to complete a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and provide evidence of vaccination against Hepatitis B.
Shift Pattern
Shifts to be confirmed but within practice hours of Monday to Friday, 9am-5.30pm.
Am I eligible for the Level 3 Dental Nurse Apprenticeship?
You may be eligible if you:
* Are 16 or older.
* Live in England and have the right to work in the UK.
* Are not currently in full-time education.
* Meet residency requirements (usually having lived in the UK or EEA for the past 3 years).
* Do not already hold a qualification at the same level or higher in a related subject.
