Our client seeks a Tax Manager/Tax Associate Director to support the Managing Partner in motivating the tax team and ensuring commitment to effective client service. The role requires maintaining high standards of work quality, ethics, and professionalism to support organizational success.
You must be willing to relocate to the Isle of Man to apply.
Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee the provision of tax compliance and advisory services to clients in collaboration with the Leadership team.
2. Manage a portfolio of complex and diverse clients, preparing and reviewing personal and company tax returns via various communication channels.
3. Prepare supporting schedules by thoroughly analyzing backing documentation.
4. Liaise with authorities regarding tax and social security queries, providing knowledgeable and timely responses.
5. Monitor own and department's WIP, contributing positively to departmental billings.
6. Ensure departmental KPIs are met, with support from the team.
7. Review team members' work, coach, and develop staff, and address technical or professional gaps as needed.
8. Build relationships within the client base to promote retention and growth.
9. Understand the firm's products and services, identifying cross-selling opportunities.
10. Participate proactively in business development activities.
11. Represent the firm as an ambassador, fostering relationships and promoting the firm to generate new business.
Key Skills & Experience
* At least five years of relevant experience and a professional qualification.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, confident in dealing with all levels.
* Motivated and committed to delivering effective client service.
* Ability to solve non-routine problems and analyze data from various sources.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Flexible, proactive, and willing to work additional hours as needed.
