Job Title: Residential Electrician

Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Residential Electrician with at least 2 years experience to join our team at TRS Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential and light commercial applications. You will ensure all electrical work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment according to blueprints and electrical codes.
* Run conduit and pull wires.
* Install circuit breakers, switches, outlets, and lighting systems.
Maintenance:
* Inspect existing electrical systems for potential hazards and malfunctions.
* Perform preventative maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and tightening connections.
* Replace worn or damaged electrical components.
* Diagnose electrical problems using testing equipment.
* Troubleshoot and repair faulty wiring, fixtures, and appliances.
* Replace malfunctioning electrical components.
Compliance:
* Adhere to local electrical codes and safety regulations.
* Ensure proper grounding and bonding practices.
Documentation:
* Keep detailed records of work performed, including repairs and modifications.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Technical Skills:
o Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
o Strong knowledge of electrical theory and calculations.
o Proficiency with electrical tools and equipment.
* Physical Abilities:
o Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
o Manual dexterity for handling small components.
o Physical stamina for lifting and carrying heavy equipment.
