Are you an experienced professional in fleet management looking for a new challenge? Aberdeenshire Council is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Fleet Manager to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead and manage our fleet operations, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of services across the region.

As the Fleet Manager, you will be responsible for leading the delivery and management of an effective Fleet, Internal Transport, and Vehicle Maintenance Service.
\n
You will oversee the procurement, maintenance, and disposal of fleet vehicles in line with approved budgets, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations.
\n
You will also lead and manage a portfolio of Fleet Repair Depots, with a strong, committed team of skilled professionals.
\n
It will be a Key Requirement that you hold a valid Certificate of Professional Competence in Road Haulage Operations and have a proven experience in fleet management or a related field.
\n
You will have strong leadership and team management skills, with excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
