Job Description:
An exciting job role has recently become available in Oxfordshire. They are looking for a new member for their Adult Safeguarding team. This role offers a total of £38,000 for the contract duration.
Role Overview
* Crucial role in supporting vulnerable adults in the community
* Work closely with individuals, families, and professionals
* Promote independence, well-being, and social inclusion
* Carry out assessments with a compassionate approach and strong evaluation skills to contribute to positive outcomes
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct assessments and develop support plans
* Coordinate services with health professionals and community resources
Safeguarding and Risk Management
* Identify and respond promptly to safeguarding concerns
* Assess risks and implement appropriate interventions
* Ensure safety and legal compliance
Direct Work with Clients
* Provide emotional support, advocacy, and facilitate access to services
* Lead group sessions to enhance social skills
Collaboration and Multi-Agency Working
* Liaise with healthcare professionals, police, and other agencies
* Advocate for clients’ rights in multidisciplinary meetings
Documentation and Record Keeping
* Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with standards
Qualifications and Experience
* Degree in Social Work or an equivalent qualification
* Registration with Social Work England
* Experience in adult social care
* Knowledge of relevant legislation
