The purpose of this role is to teach assigned classes and associated duties. Stronsay Junior High School is an exciting, dynamic place to teach. You will have the luxury of teaching small classes; our current school roll is 42 children and young people, including nursery, primary and up to S4 in secondary. While you will deliver RME and ICT in the Broad General Education for this roll, we also welcome applicants with the ability to teach any subject as the school is looking to extend the range of qualifications available to our young people. You will also have the opportunity to work with other colleagues in Orkney’s two other Junior High schools. Our pupils move to Kirkwall Grammar School for S5, and we have close links with this school.
