Overview
This is a part-time, term-time only position - working 18.5 hours a week, 36 weeks per academic calendar year. Interviews for this role will take place on-site, at one of our college campuses in Weston-super-Mare.
Responsibilities
* Maintaining and providing technical support for required areas, including testing and setting up equipment.
* Supporting students who wish to realise their overall outcomes.
* Planning and delivering induction programmes on safe use of equipment to all student cohorts, which will be timetabled into workshops.
* Supervising and demonstrating technical and practical skills to students, ensuring that the safe use of workshop equipment is adhered to.
Qualifications
* Level 3 Qualification in a relevant Creative Arts Specialism.
* Up-to-date knowledge of working with resistant materials including wood, metal, plastics and plaster.
* Relevant working experience.
