We are seeking an Assistant Accountant to join the team at Marshall Scunthorpe to assist with managing and finalising accounts.

The role
This is a role where you will work closely with the Dealership Accountant, the Head of Business and the on-site experienced and supportive Accounts office team. You will be making a real difference to operational performance while ensuring all financial control and accounting processes are in place.
Your focus will be around the day to day oversee of the financial health of the BMW Accounts team based in Scunthorpe, in addition to these duties, you will be required to assist with balance sheet control and risk/audit management, along with ensuring inventory checks meet internal requirements, managing working capital and on-going cost reviews. We offer training through our in-house Marshall Finance Academy in addition to study support and ongoing on-site training/leadership & support.
You will work as part of the dealership finance & admin team, and also as a part of our retail finance division and will work to support the dealerships with day to day financial reporting and management. Offered on a full-time basis, this role reports to the Dealership Accountant.

We are looking to speak to you if you are currently in an Assistant Accountant position or an Accounts Assistant with demonstrable experience and a proven understanding of the role and the day to day function within accounts. You will be happy to self-manage your workload and time, and enjoy working in fast paced environment, to time deadlines where you will be part of a supportive and friendly team. Current or previous Automotive experience is desirable.
