Job Description
This role involves providing sterile decontamination services to support surgical and clinical departments. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality services, maintaining stock control, and promoting health and safety standards.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
* Maths and English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence
* Proficient in the use of a PC, including software and systems
* Previous administration experience in a private healthcare environment
* Knowledge of sterile services
* Good administration and computer skills
Key duties include:
* Providing first-class decontamination sterile services to Operating Theatres, clinical, and paramedical departments
* Answering calls from customers and preparing/amending tray lists
* Assisting with the ordering and storage of supplies
* Dispatching instruments to various locations
* Supporting decontamination, checking, assembly, packing, sterilisation, and delivery of medical and surgical equipment
* Maintaining good relationships with customers and staff
* Assisting with stock management
* Promoting health & safety within the department
* Ensuring adherence to policies and procedures
