This is not just a role – it's a key position in a high-paced, 24/7 service-driven business where excellence is expected at every turn. Our clients rely on us, and we take their needs seriously. Every interaction is an opportunity to exceed expectations and deliver exceptional service.
We are looking for an experienced and commercially savvy Maintenance Coordinator who thrives in a dynamic, high-pressure environment and is eager to take charge. In this role, you will manage three critical areas: Pre-planned Maintenance (PPM), Reactive Service, and Installations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Schedule urgent and planned service work efficiently
2. Act as the first point of contact for clients — ensuring a professional, proactive, and positive experience
3. Meet tight deadlines, manage budgets, and exceed client expectations
4. Collaborate closely with purchasing, sales, and project teams to ensure alignment and smooth operations
5. Oversee site surveys, quotations, and installations to guarantee timely completion
6. Coordinate credit checks, supplier management, and subcontractor relationships
7. Continuously adapt schedules to respond to shifting priorities
8. Ensure seamless project delivery from initiation to completion
9. Manage Reactive Service Coordination: Schedule urgent service requests, dispatch engineers, and provide immediate client support
10. Handle PPM Coordination: Manage planned maintenance schedules, liaise with suppliers, and track project profitability
11. Communicate effectively with clients, always delivering clear, confident, and positive messaging
12. Maintain strong commercial awareness, ensuring we protect and improve profit margins at every opportunity
Required Experience:
13. Demonstrated experience in coordinating reactive and planned service projects
14. Strong organisational skills, with a solid understanding of commercial dynamics
15. A natural talent for providing outstanding customer service
16. Previous roles in similar positions such as: Service Operations Coordinator, Engineering Scheduler, Service Delivery Manager, Field Service Coordinator, Maintenance Planner, or similar titles
