CAD Technician
An established building services consultancy is looking to recruit a CAD Technician to support the production and coordination of high-quality technical drawings across a range of projects. You’ll be responsible for producing accurate AutoCAD drawings, working closely with engineers, and ensuring all outputs meet agreed standards and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Produce and maintain AutoCAD building services drawings and models
*
Create and modify 2D plans in line with project requirements
*
Ensure all work complies with CAD standards and procedures
*
Liaise with engineers to resolve technical issues and progress designs
*
Attend client meetings where required to discuss CAD-related matters
*
Use relevant project software including AutoCAD, Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM 360
*
Manage the preparation, issue, storage and archiving of drawings in line with company procedures
*
Support the successful delivery of project milestones and deadlines
Skills & Experience
*
Proven experience as a CAD Technician, ideally within building services or a related consultancy environment
*
Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD
*
Experience using BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud (desirable)
*
Good attention to detail and ability to work to CAD standards
*
Strong communication skills and confidence working with engineers and project teams

Working Hours & Flexibility

Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (1-hour lunch)
