Are you a passionate Biology Teacher eager to inspire young scientists and foster curiosity in the classroom?

A supportive and well-resourced secondary school in Middlesbrough is seeking a dedicated Biology Teacher to join its vibrant Science department from January 2026. This full-time role offers the opportunity to teach Biology across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, including GCSE and A-Level.

Location: Middlesbrough
Start Date: January 2026
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

Your Role:

• Collaborate with colleagues to develop resources and share best practices.
• Contribute to the wider school community through science-related extracurricular activities.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold a degree in Biology or a related Science subject and possess QTS (or be working towards it).
• Have experience teaching Biology at secondary and/or post-16 level.
• Be confident managing practical lab work with a strong focus on safety.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm and the ability to inspire students of all abilities.
• Have the legal right to work in the UK.
