A Vacancy at University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust.
The Estates Department provides comprehensive maintenance, repair, and installation services for buildings, grounds, engineering services, and associated equipment throughout the Trust.
You must have completed a recognised Mechanical or Building Services apprenticeship and gained extensive experience in building engineering services and plant maintenance, with a BTEC HNC level or City and Guilds, plus relevant post-apprenticeship training or equivalent experience.
You must hold a current UK (manual) driving licence and reside within half an hour's travel time to fulfill on-call duties.
The role is Monday – Friday, with participation in an emergency on-call rota, plus opportunities for overtime and weekend working. Please see the attached shift pattern.
Salary ranges from £29,970 to £36,483 per annum, plus a local RRP (£3,277 pa), an approximate £1,000 pa on-call retainer, overtime, 27 days holiday, and a voluntary pension scheme.
Base Location: Royal Bournemouth Hospital.
