Test Engineering Manager - Remote
Harrington Starr has partnered with a global payments provider that’s now hiring a Test Engineering Manager to lead and grow their high-impact QA team.
This is a hands-on and managerial role for someone who’s passionate about automation, modern test strategy, and building high-performing teams.
You’ll work alongside Engineering Leadership to shape the technical direction of test engineering across the organization.
What you’ll do
* Lead and grow the QA/TE team across multiple projects within a payments technology environment
* Shape the technical direction of test engineering and automation strategy
* Collaborate with Engineering Leadership and cross-functional partners
* Maintain a hands-on approach while scaling testing practices and teams
What you’ll need
* 6+ years in software testing, with 1+ years in a lead or management role
* Strong test automation experience using SpecFlow and Playwright
* Ability to coach and scale test engineering talent while staying close to the tech
* Experience managing TE across multiple teams and concurrent projects
* Deep knowledge of Agile/Lean principles and continuous delivery environments
This role is a fully remote position with quarterly get-togethers with the team.
