The Best Connection are proud to be partnering with our client and are recruiting for a skilled Production Operatives for their Bedford site. The role is working a shift pattern of 07:00am-15:15pm, Monday-Friday with the opportunity of temp-to-perm for the suitable candidate. Pay rate is £13.50 per hour. Overtime rates are flat rate after working 38.5 hours in the week and for Weekends subject to availability. The role will involve running a variety of printing and dye casting machines. Requirements of the Production Operative: Previous experience in printing, fabrication and using dye cutting machines is preferred. Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and adhere to quality control standards at all time to ensure the products are of the highest quality. Have an interest in working in printing production and work collaboratively with colleagues at all times. Follow strict health and safety protocol at all times when operating the production equipment. This role is a physical roles with manual handling and lifting on a daily basics. Experience within modern & traditional machinery including Kasemake & Heidelberg machinery is an advantage. Responsibilities of the Production Operative: Operate the production machinery safely and following all health and safety protocol, following directions/instructions Candidates must have previous experience in producing high quality and bespoke preservation materials. Carry out tasks including cutting, gluing, measuring materials with high attention to detail. Assist in other areas of the production and warehouse to meet production targets.
