About the Role: We are looking for an experienced 3rd Line Engineer with deep expertise across Microsoft cloud technologies. This role will be central to managing and optimising our Intune, M365, SharePoint, Entra ID, Microsoft licensing, and RMM environments. While a solid background in Windows Server and desktop support is important, success in this role will rely on your ability to design, configure, and manage Microsoft’s modern cloud stack. You will serve as a senior escalation point, deliver infrastructure projects, and ensure our platforms are secure, resilient, and aligned with best practices. Key Responsibilities: Setup, configure, and manage Microsoft Intune environments, including device compliance, deployment, and security policies. Provide advanced support and administration of SharePoint Online (site design, permissions, governance, and integrations). Act as a subject-matter expert in Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, and related services. Administer and manage Entra ID (Azure AD) for identity, access, security, and conditional access policies. Advise on and manage the Microsoft licensing environment and options, optimising cost and usage across the business. Manage and support RMM (Remote Monitoring & Management) tools for endpoint and infrastructure management. Own and resolve escalated 3rd Line incidents and problems, ensuring thorough root cause analysis. Support infrastructure projects including migrations, upgrades, and new platform rollouts. Ensure compliance with security best practices and regulatory requirements. Document configurations, processes, and solutions for knowledge-sharing and consistency. Skills & Experience: Essential Proven experience in a 3rd Line / Senior Engineer role with a focus on Microsoft cloud technologies. Advanced experience with: Intune setup, configuration, and management. SharePoint Online administration and governance. Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, etc.). Entra ID (Azure AD) Strong knowledge of the Microsoft licensing environment, including options and cost optimisation. Hands-on experience with RMM platforms (configuration, monitoring, remediation). At least one Intermediate or Advanced Microsoft Certification earned in the past 3 years (e.g., MS-102, AZ-104, MS-700, or equivalent). Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. PowerShell scripting and automation. Excellent documentation and communication abilities. Desirable Experience working within an MSP (Managed Service Provider) Familiarity with Windows Server environments and traditional infrastructure. Knowledge of compliance and security frameworks.
