About This Role
Autism Initiatives Northern Ireland is seeking a dedicated HR Assistant to provide generalist HR support to the HR Adviser and HR Manager. The role involves administrative support across key HR functions, working within a friendly and responsive team.
Responsibilities
1. Support HR advisory and managerial staff with administrative tasks.
2. Manage absence records and advise managers on absence procedures.
3. Administer end-to-end recruitment processes and organize recruitment events.
4. Handle leaver processes, including communication and documentation.
5. Produce reports and analyze HR data for management meetings.
6. Assist with employee relations activities, including investigations and disciplinary procedures.
7. Manage variation processes and update employment contracts.
8. Distribute pension information and process auto-enrollment notifications.
9. Maintain accurate HR records and ensure data protection compliance.
10. Support HR audit processes and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
11. Respond to HR queries and handle correspondence.
12. Participate in training and promote equality, diversity, and inclusion initiatives.

Essential Criteria
* GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above
* Proven experience in a general HR role, including recruitment
* Strong organizational and data management skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle
Desirable Criteria
* Experience in social care environment
* CIPD Level 3 qualification or higher
