Who We Are
At Methods Analytics, our mission is to improve society by helping organisations make better decisions through data; “To Solve for Good”. We combine sector expertise with technical excellence to deliver transformative, ethical, and impactful solutions.
We’re excited by the limitless potential of data - a sector where new innovations are always on the horizon. Our culture thrives on collaboration, creativity, and curiosity, and we invest in building a strong Business Analysis Community of Practice with a defined career pathway that empowers our people to grow, lead, and shape the future of the profession.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Business Analysis Practice delivering data-focused projects in the defence sector.

You’ll bring proven expertise in management information (MI), discovery work, and data analytics projects, using insight to enable better decision-making at all levels.
We value people who are self-motivated, proactive, and thrive in complexity — someone who doesn’t wait to be told what to do, who can adapt to ambiguity, and who’s comfortable being uncomfortable when tackling novel or challenging problems.
This is a primarily remote role with occasional travel to client sites and our offices in London, Sheffield, or Bristol. Security Clearance will be required (details provided during interview).

6. Data-Driven Recommendations – Lead MI and analytics projects, using modelling and analysis to assess risks, opportunities, benefits, and costs.
7. Clear Communication – Craft visual models, user stories, acceptance criteria, and concise documentation that bring clarity to complexity.
8. Enable Delivery – Support implementation, troubleshoot issues, and ensure successful adoption of change.
9. Community & Leadership – Mentor colleagues, share best practices, and actively contribute to shaping our BA Community of Practice and defined career pathway.
