We are looking for a Traffic Manager to join our Infrastructure Roads team on our A428 project.
What you'll do:
* Lead the development and delivery of the route-wide Traffic Management Plan, DLOA, and procurement process
* Coordinate traffic management across Utilities, Structures, and Highways teams, engaging with OD and local authorities
* Manage subcontractors, ensuring commercial health, accurate records, and compliance with contractual requirements
* Mentor and supervise TSCOs, driving team performance, development, and effective workload management
* Champion safety and compliance, overseeing TM schemes, risk assessments, and stakeholder forums to ensure safe delivery
What you'll bring to the role:
* Proven highways experience working on a major Highways Scheme, with a relevant CSCS card
* Technical expertise – strong knowledge of traffic management solutions, construction requirements, and key standards (Chapter 8, TSRGD, Raising the Bar, NRSWA)
* Health & Safety leadership – formal training (SMSTS) and a track record of embedding safety and environmental best practice
* Commercial and contractual awareness – practical understanding of construction contracts, procurement processes, and supplier management
* Digital competence & communication skills – confident with MS Office, site digital tools, and able to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
