Position: Band 6 Mental Health Liaison Nurse
Location: Weston-super-Mare
Contract Length: Initially 2 months, with strong potential for extension
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (shifts available: 8am–4pm, 9am–5pm, 10am–6pm)
Pay: £27 per hour (umbrella) / £21.46 PAYE (excluding holiday pay)

We are seeking a dedicated Band 6 Mental Health Liaison Nurse to join a dynamic NHS team in Weston-super-Mare. Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality mental health assessments, interventions, and support to patients presenting in acute hospital settings.
Liaise closely with hospital staff, community teams, and external agencies to ensure seamless patient care.
Develop and implement tailored care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for service users.
Administer medication, monitor patient progress, and respond to mental health crises as needed.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with NHS standards.Requirements
Registered Mental Health Nurse (NMC registration required)
Previous experience in liaison psychiatry, crisis, or community mental health settings
Excellent clinical assessment and communication skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
