What you’ll do
* Sell R&D Tax Credits within a designated geographic territory to Mid-Market employers (50 to 999 employees).
* Manage complete sales cycles—from gaining access to obtaining contract signatures—selling to both prospects and ADP’s existing HCM clients.
* Leverage tools, technology, and sales skills to build pipeline, gain access, and advance opportunities through the sales process.
* Partner with other ADP sellers when appropriate, but drive the bulk of business through self-generated sales pipeline.
* Engage with Centers of Influence (COIs) as needed, while focusing on selling to a company’s executive/financial contacts.
* Work with SMEs from ADP’s Tax Credits Operations team to validate prospect eligibility for R&D and other Tax Credits.
Integrity, resilience, positivity, and a "refuse to lose" attitude are essential. You will experience ebbs and flows, but challenges should motivate you to thrive. The role offers uncapped commissions, incentive trips, and opportunities to advance within a stable, respected tech company.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
* Proven winner with a track record of closing sales, winning clients, and managing a territory.
* Positive self-starter with the ability to cold call, manage time effectively, and present ideas clearly in writing, in person, and over the phone.
* Confident and fearless in pursuing opportunities and challenging the status quo.
* Entrepreneurial spirit; resourceful, resilient under pressure, and able to bounce back quickly.
* Trusted advisor who builds relationships with integrity and delivers on promises.
* 5+ years of quota-carrying, outside B2B sales experience, including hunter-type roles with self-generated pipeline. Tax Credits experience is a plus; a proven track record in a relevant sales role is valued higher.
Preferred Qualifications
* College degree is not required; focus on ability to build a network and use social media for sales.
* Military experience with teamwork, resilience, negotiation, trust-building, and a "never lose" mentality is advantageous.

Compensation and benefits
Base salary offers may vary by location, skills, and experience. Some roles include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity, or commissions. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Retirement Savings, Wellness Program, Disability, Paid Volunteer Time Off, and more. The compensation for this role is USD $56,100.00 - USD $121,500.00 per year.
