Sales Engineer – Commercial Heat Pumps and Chillers
Location: North & Midlands
Remuneration: Up to £65,000 + £7,500-£15,000 Bonus
Benefits: Hybrid Car, EV or £7,000 Car Allowance and full benefits
Role Overview
The Sales Engineer – Commercial and Industrial Heat Pumps and Chillers will be responsible for:
* Field sales of a range of commercial and industrial (100kw+) heat pumps and chillers, plant supply only
* Spending approximately 50% of time selling into M&E contractors and 50% winning specifications with M&E consultants (small element of FM and end user work)
* Developing new business, inheriting a pipeline of circa £3m-£4m
* Achieving revenue targets: circa £500,000 in year one, £1m in year two
* Managing project sizes typically between £200,000-£400,000
* Target sectors include commercial, industrial, healthcare, and education
* Providing high-spec climate solutions
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
* Proven sales experience in HVAC or renewable products
* Experience selling heat pumps or chillers for commercial or industrial applications
* Optional: a background combining engineering and sales
* Existing network within M&E consultants and contractors
* Technical product knowledge (full training provided)
* Strong sales and new business development skills
* Autonomous, self-starter, excellent communication and presentation skills
* Highly organized, energetic, passionate team player
