Operational Support Grade Role
This role plays a crucial part in supporting the day-to-day operations of a busy prison. As an Operational Support Grade, you will be part of a supportive team performing various tasks – from security and searches at the gate to managing deliveries and supervising visitors.
The job involves combining desk duties with more physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and walking across the prison grounds. You will work a variety of shifts, including weekends and nights, to ensure smooth operations.
You don't need any qualifications for this role but being a good communicator and able to remain calm under pressure are essential skills. You will have good judgment and common sense, and above all, be a great team player.
