The Role:
* Set up, operate, and maintain 3/5-axis mills (Mill Holder, Tool Holder, Feeder)
* Produce high-quality precision components
* Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Perform routine maintenance on machines
* Ensure all work adheres to Health and Safety standards
* Collaborate with the production team to optimize processes
* Maintain a clean and organized workspace
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
What We’re Looking for:
* A broad understanding of metallic materials
* Experience on Heidenhain and/or Fanuc operating system
* Strong understanding of technical drawings and specifications
* Excellent problem-solving skills
* High attention to detail and quality
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong Health and Safety knowledge
* Disciplined approach to manufacturing and quality
* Energetic, dynamic, and a “can-do” attitude.
* Experience with other CNC control systems
* Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies
* Relevant Health & Safety qualifications
* Recent experience in a manufacturing workshop
* Proficiency in MS software packages
The Package:
* Night Shift: Monday – Thursday 6pm-04.30am (40hrs a week)
* Competitive Salary: Night shift carries a premium shift uplift of x 1.333. Additional overtime also available.
* Benefits: 25 days holiday (Pro Rata equivalent 20 days), private medical insurance, 3x death in service, and pension contributions.
